Position Description

Your Opportunity

You will work for TechSource and support the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center’s (AFNWC) Nuclear Certification Team at their Hill Air Force Base (HAFB) location in Ogden, UT. In this role you will perform independent reviews and identify risks of the documentation associated with the nuclear certification process. You will work onsite at HAFB.

 

What You Will Do

  • Provide engineering analysis to support the Nuclear Certification Team.
  • Identify risks and write reports, independent reviews, of the documents.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders.

What You Will Need

  • Active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

Executive Administrative Assistant — Washington, DC

Position Description

Your Opportunity:

Techsource is hiring a full-time executive administrative assistant to provide support to the Office of International Programs, NA-10.2, part of Department of Energy (DOE)/National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). You will provide technical support to the Director and staff. You will manage daily operations for NA-10.2 staff, gather and track weekly reports, provide administrative and logistical support, and participate in various weekly and biweekly meetings.

 

You’ll work onsite daily at the DOE Headquarters Forrestal Building, located in Washington, DC, initially. After training, and with the approval for the NA-10.2 Director, you may be approved to work a hybrid schedule (onsite 2 – 3 days a week and remote work 2 – 3 days a week) as the workload allows.   

 

What You Will Do:

  • Provide business management support to the Director and staff.
  • Assist NA-10.2 staff with corporate business systems, such as the Federal Travel Management System, Concur, Leaning Nucleus, eDocs, WADCS, and SharePoint.
  • Consolidate weekly reports.
  • Coordinate correspondence action items, including preparing, editing, and uploading documents.
  • Manage visit access procedures and requirements.
  • Track and update contract and loan spreadsheets.
  • Review and process Joint Atomic Information Exchange Group (JAIEG) visit reports.

Subcontracts Specialist — Albuquerque, NM

Position Description

Your Opportunity:

As a Subcontract Specialist for TechSource you will join a small team of motivated and knowledgeable contract professionals. You will negotiate and execute subcontracts and purchase orders, including modifications. These subcontracts will primarily be issued under our Department of Energy (DOE)/National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Los Alamos National Laboratories TRIAD contract, along with occasional support to other TechSource organizations as needed. In this role you will negotiate Non-Disclosure and Teaming Agreements, negotiate terms and conditions, and track the status of various contracts from preparation to fully executed status. Likewise, you will manage subcontract close out activities to ensure compliance with contract stipulations.

 

You will work in a hybrid work environment with 3 – 4 days a week in the office and 1 – 2 days a week working remotely from your home. The TechSource office is located in Albuquerque, NM. Local & remote candidates are being considered for this opportunity.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Work collaboratively as a contracts and subcontracts department team member to ensure the timely and accurate execution of contracts, subcontracts, and modifications.
  • Interact closely with program managers, cost controls, and accounting to inform and update them on subcontracting actions.
  • Close out subcontracts and purchase orders, including IDIQs, BPAs, and task orders.
  • Set up subcontracts, including ceilings, funding, budget, periods of performance, and milestones.
  • Analyze subcontracts, subcontractor proposals, perform price analysis, and perform CPSR compliant analysis of, subcontracting activities.
  • Review and negotiate Non-Disclosure and Teaming Agreements.
  • Suggest improvements to streamline processes within the department.

What You Will Need:

  • 3 or more years of government procurement and contracts work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or other relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience required for this position.
  • Knowledge of and experience with all federal acquisition regulations and applicable agency supplements.
  • Effective and concise verbal and written communication, problem solver, adaptable, and resourceful.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
  • US citizenship.
  • An active DOE or DoD clearance is desired.
  • Ability to travel to TechSource’s Los Alamos Office and customer sites, 10% travel.

Systems Engineer — Albuquerque, NM

Position Description

As a full-time systems engineer you will work closely with integrated groups to conduct systems engineering and analysis work in support of the Department of Energy (DOE) and National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). You will apply engineering principles and practices to solve complex engineering challenges and participate in program management reporting. You will be examining processes to mitigate risks, suggest improvements, and increase productivity. This work is onsite at Kirtland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, NM. Only local candidates and those willing to relocate to Albuquerque are being considered for this opportunity.   

 

What You Will Do:

  • Perform systems engineering, program management, requirements management, and risk analysis activities.
  • Perform systems studies and analyses to support informed decision making.
  • Develop and implement systems engineering processes and procedures.
  • Understand and execute broad objectives from management, then independent analysis, evaluation, and integration of solutions for unusually complex technical problems.

Position Description

Your Opportunity:

As a systems engineer you will conduct systems engineering and analysis work in support of Department of Energy (DOE). You will apply engineering principles and practices to solve complex engineering challenges and participate in program management reporting.
