Accounting Specialist — Albuquerque, NM

Position Description

Your Opportunity:

As a full-time Accounting Specialist for TechSource you will perform duties for the Accounting Department related to TechSource’s various government and commercial contracts. You will create and maintain relationships with internal and external customers. As a member of a small accounting team your input, efforts, and work are recognized, appreciated, and encouraged.

 

You will work in a hybrid work environment, working 3 – 4 days a week from home and 1 – 2 days in the office, located in the uptown area of Albuquerque.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Review, enter, and process recurring and subcontractor vendor invoices into the Accounts Payable accounting system module. Obtain payment authorization for all vendor invoices.
  • Assemble documentation for weekly check runs and ACH processing for review and approval. Monitor accounts receivable payments in support of subcontractor vendor payments.
  • Provide accounts payable forecasts in support cash flow forecasting.
  • Scan checks, match to scanned paid vendor invoices, and file electronically.
  • Support entry of travel expense reports into Accounts Payable module.
  • Prepare NMGRT general ledger journal entries associated with customer invoicing and other monthly recurring GL entries.
  • Fully document and prepare monthly NMGRT filings for review and submission.
  • Research accounts payable vendor invoice and payment matters.
  • Prepare and file annual Federal form 1099 and issue to vendors; keep current on regulatory 1099 guidance.
  • Cross-train on the preparation of customer invoices and support the preparation of monthly customer Time and Materials invoices.    
  • Establish strong working relationships and deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.

 

 

  • 5 or more years of recent and relevant accounts payable and general ledger experience. 
  • Commitment to ethical practices and possess a thorough understanding of confidentiality requirements.
  • Ability to work well as both a team member and individual contributor.
  • Effective interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Deadline-driven, detail-oriented, organized, and efficient professional.

Cyber Practice Manager — Washington, DC

Position Description

Your Opportunity:

TechSource is seeking a dynamic cyber professional for a full-time opportunity to support the Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA)’s Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) to provide expertise on IT and cybersecurity matters and act as a liaison for major DOE sites, laboratories, and field offices. You will also create and manage service level agreements (SLA), key performance indicators (KPI), and experience level agreements (XLA). You will also lead projects and teams to enhance and improve program services as a customer engagement manager.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Bridge gaps between federal customers and OCIO office by quantifying SLAs, KPIs, and XLAs to improve the customer experience.
  • Devise strategies and approaches to infuse leadership direction throughout the organization and inspire adoption of new technologies enterprise wide.
  • Lead projects and teams to upgrade, improve, and enhance new and existing program services.
  • Support customers on enterprise-processes and operations.
  • Perform technical debt assessments of customer environments.

  • Active DOE Q or Department of Defense (DoD) top secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Ability to serve as OCIO program liaison for major sites, labs, and field offices.

Project Manager — Los Alamos, NM

Position Description

As a full-time Project Manager for TechSource, you will support the Los Alamos National Laboratory in their national security mission. You will work directly with project leadership to produce and ensure successful execution of the new Plutonium Infrastructure Directorate project portfolios ranging from $1 Million to $10 Million. This position will be on-site in Los Alamos, NM.

 

  • Design portfolios of project.

Position Description

Your Opportunity:

As a systems engineer you will conduct systems engineering and analysis work in support of Department of Energy (DOE). You will apply engineering principles and practices to solve complex engineering challenges and participate in program management reporting. Work Control Planner — Los Alamos, NM

Position Description

As a full-time Work Control Planner for TechSource, you will work at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in TA-3261, in support of TA-55 and their national security mission. You will work within a team of positive and motivated individuals to develop and review work packages. This position will be on-site in Los Alamos, NM.

  • Develop and review work packages.
  • Planning related to mechanical, electrical, chemical, or radiological equipment.
  • Write step-by-step work instructions.
  • Develop packages for procedures and safety testing requirements.
